We want our guests who visit the castle town of Matsumoto,
a nexus of human emotion and home of traditional culture that
continues to live on, to have a place where they can relax
comfortably at the beginning and end of each day.
This desire was the impetus for establishing
Hotel Montagne Matsumoto.

Our hotel is a short one-minute walk from the Alps Exit (the West Exit) of Matsumoto Station (JR). It can also easily be accessed by car and is only a five-minute drive from the Matsumoto Interchange or Matsumoto Castle, a tourist attraction for which the city is famous.

Restaurant Ginga is popular for its a-la-carte-style all-you-can-eat buffet, which includes a menu of over 100 items. Here, you can enjoy freshly made authentic Chinese cuisine.
Healthy breakfast
Our hotel’s breakfast is offered as an all-you-can-eat buffet of over 30 Japanese, Western, and Chinese items prepared using nutritious ingredients sourced from Nagano Prefecture. Our cooking uses plenty of fresh ingredients produced by Shinshu’s rich natural environment.

The windows of rooms on the east side of the hotel command a view of the Utsukushigahara Highlands and the city at night, while those on the west side overlook the majestic Northern Alps.
